About River Hollow
Established in 1966, River Hollow spans a picturesque expanse of land stretching from River Road to the Maumee River in Perrysburg Township. Originally envisioned as a family-oriented barn for horse enthusiasts, River Hollow remains a welcoming haven for those passionate about learning and enjoying the equestrian lifestyle.
Over the years, the farm has evolved. A portion of the original property was donated to the park district and now operates as Buttonwood Park. Also adding a second indoor arena, the multi-purpose Boat Barn, and numerous paddocks and pastures. The current owners have enhanced the property with maintained riding trails and updated facilities, all nestled within serene woodlands teeming with wildlife, from deer and foxes to a variety of birds.
The property’s rich history adds to its charm, with an ancient Native American village located on-site. Beyond equestrian activities, River Hollow serves as a secluded and scenic venue for weddings, events, and photography.
While our primary focus is the hunter-jumper riding discipline, we warmly welcome riders from all backgrounds and disciplines. Join us to learn, ride, and experience the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere of River Hollow.
